Friday Day 1 – Arrive in Tel Aviv and embark on the 13 day Classic Israel Tour   13 day classic israel tour

  • You will be met by a Heritage Israel Tour representative and transferred to your hotel for check in.

Saturday Day 2 –  Leisure Day

  • Following breakfast, enjoy the day in Tel Aviv at leisure.

Sunday Day 3 – Caesarea /Megiddo/ Druze village/Haifa             13 day classic israel tour

  • Following breakfast, we will journey along the coastal plain to Caesarea, once the Roman capital of the region.
  • See the excavations of the Crusaders city and the Roman port, aqueduct and amphitheater recently restored.
  • Proceed to Megiddo, identified as the site of Armageddon; visit the archaeological excavations.
  • Furthermore, continue to Daliat-el-Carmel, a Druze village and enjoy a late lunch at a local restaurant.
  • To conclude, proceed via Mount Carmel to Haifa for a panoramic view of the Haifa bay and the golden domed Bahai gardens.

Monday Day 4 – Safed / Golan Heights/Winery

  • Continue to the Golan Heights to see the former Syrian bunkers, Kuneitra and the new Israeli town of Katzrin.

  • To conclude the day, proceed to “Golan Magic” for a multimedia presentation of the area and its history.

Tuesday Day 5 – Sea of Galilee / Nazareth

  • Following breakfast, we begin the day with a visit to Nazareth to visit the Church of Annunciation.
  • Furthermore, continue to Tiberias; Visit Capernaum to see the ruins of the synagogue and octagonal Church of St. Peter
  • In addition, visit Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the sermon on the mount.

Wednesday Day 6 – Jerusalem: the Old City and Bethlehem 

  • Following breakfast, start the day with a magnificent panoramic view from Mount of Olives.
  • Proceeding to the Old City.
  • Visit the Tomb of King David and the Room of Last Supper on Mt. Zion.
  • Furthermore, enter the walled city and walk through the newly restored Jewish quarter.
  • Visit the Roman Cardo, the Herodian quarter and continue to the Western Wall.
  • Moreover, walk along the Via Delarosa to the Church of Holy Sepulchre.
  • To conclude, continue to Bethlehem to view Rachel’s tomb and proceed to the Church of Nativity and Manger’s Square.

Thursday Day 7 – Jerusalem: the New CityJerusalem, Israel

  • Following breakfast, drive to the Israel Museum.
  • Here will will visit the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea scrolls are housed.
  • Proceed for a tour at the Knesset, Israel’s parliament.
  • Continue to visit Mount Hertzel cemetery and Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust.
  • In addition, experience Mea Shearim, the ultra orthodox neighborhood in Jerusalem.
  • Moreover, in the evening enjoy dinner followed by the spectacular “Sound & Light” show at the Tower of David Museum.

Friday Day 8 – Qumeran / Massada / Dead Sea

  • Following breakfast, drive through the Judean desert towards the Dead Sea.
  • The lowest point on earth, almost 1300 feet (400 meters) below sea level.
  • Continuing towards Qumeran to visit the site where the Dead Sea scrolls were found.
  • Furthermore, drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Massada.
  • Ascend by cable car and tour the ancient fortress where the Zealots made their last stand against the Romans.
  • To conclude the day, descend by cable car and head to the Dead Sea for a swim
  • Cover yourself with the mineral rich mud and float on the water.

Saturday Day 9 – Leisure Day in Jerusalem

  • Following a shabbat style breakfast, enjoy the day at leisure in Jerusalem.

Sunday Day 10 – Timna / Underwater Observatory / Eilat

  • Following breakfast, travel south through the Negev desert.
  • Moving on, stop at Timna, a large geological and archaeological park.
  • In addition, we will get a chance to view the outstanding Solomon’s pillars.
  • Continue to Eilat, the southernmost resort city on the shores of the Red Sea.
  • Moreover, explore the Underwater Observatory marine park that was built into a coral reef.

Monday Day 11 – At leisure or optional tour to Petra (with additional charge)

  • Following breakfast and visa assistance at the Jordanian border, drive straight to Petra. The astonishing rose-red city built by the Nabateans.
  • In addition, Petra was renowned for its massive architecture, pools, dams and water channels.
  • Moreover, the city itself is almost 45 square km and is considered to be the second wonder of the world.
  • Following the visit, time for lunch in a nice restaurant. After lunch drive back to border.
  • Furthermore, a short visit to Aqaba with the possibility to stop and take a walk around.
  • To conclude the day, transfer to the border at around 18:00 p.m and crossing back into Eilat, Israel.

Tuesday Day 12 – Mitzpe Ramon / Sde Boker / Hatzerim

  • Following breakfast, we will depart Eilat via Mitzpe Ramon and stop to gaze into a geological wonder, the Ramon crater.
  • Moreover, proceed to Sde Boker and see Ben Gurion’s grave overlooking the magnificent Zin valley.
  • In addition, stop for a camel ride and a visit to an authentic Bedouin tent.
  • Furthermore, learn about the Bedouin hospitality and enjoy a light lunch.
  • To conclude the days touring,  continue to Hatzerim and visit Israel’s Airforce Museum.

Overnight Tel-Aviv.

Wednesday Day 13 – Tel Aviv / Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport

  • Last breakfast in Israel. To conclude, we will transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for departure back home with lifelong memories.
